Orion Solar Belt launched with 875 MW capacity: SB Energy’s Orion I, II, and III solar projects in Milam County, Texas, have reached commercial operation, using over 1.3 million American-made solar modules and U.S. steel.

Significant employment and local contribution: The Orion Solar Belt created 3,000 U.S. jobs during construction and manufacturing, and is expected to contribute $100 million to local services in Milam County over the project’s lifespan.

Google’s largest solar energy investment: SB Energy’s power purchase agreement (PPA) with Google powers its data centers in Texas and supports Google’s goal of operating on 100 percent carbon-free energy by 2030.

Domestic manufacturing support: Key components, including solar modules from First Solar and steel from Gerdau’s Texas and Georgia mills, reinforce U.S. supply chains for renewable energy.

Local community benefits: SB Energy has partnered with Milam County to support local businesses, improve schools, and contribute to public services, strengthening the region’s economy.
