ReneSola to Supply 22MW solar modules for UK projects

ReneSolaUK , provider of solar PV products, has announced the supply of 22 MW polycrystalline Virtus I and Virtus II solar modules for use in two ground-mounted, utility-scale projects.

The two projects include a 10.8MW Low Carbon project in Bottom Plain, Dorset and a 15.6MW Cofely GDF Suez project in Bilsham Farm, Arundel.

The Bilsham solar farm is expected to power 3,600 homes and reduce carbon emissions by 1.65 million tons per year.

These solar farms will use both 250W and 255W modules, to achieve maximize efficiency.

This solar farm will demonstrate how agriculture and power generation can work together to develop farm-friendly solar installations, said, Dmitry Van Havere, project manager, Cofely GDF Suez said.
