ReneSola to offer 4.6 MW solar modules to Solar Planet

Greentech Lead America: ReneSola, a global
manufacturer of solar modules and wafers, has agreed to sell 4.6 MW of its
high-quality, high-efficiency modules to Solar Planet Power, a manufacturer of
photovoltaic system solutions in the U.S.

Under the terms of the agreement, ReneSola
will ship a total of 4.6 MW of its modules to Solar Planet in Q3, 2012. Solar
Planet plans to order up to 15 MW of additional solar modules within six months
following the initial delivery.

“This contract win reflects our deep commitment to the
U.S. market, as well as the recognized quality of our high efficiency modules,”
said Xianshou Li, ReneSola’s chief executive officer. “Over the past six
months, our Americas sales team has worked hard to establish on-the-ground
relationships with key solar power players and prospective customers in the
United States, as well as to enhance brand awareness of our products.”

The company plans to develop a long-term relationship
with Solar Planet, Li added.

“This strategic partnership with ReneSola will help Solar
Planet reache its big growth plans much faster and smoother. Solar Planet is
shooting for about $200 million in solar projects at schools and other public
and private sites over the next two years,” said Siyd Tawana, president of
Solar Planet.

Solar Planet has won contracts to do installations for
more than 30 major school districts, more than 20 municipals, many hospitals,
airports and universities in state of Ohio. It also plans to expand to other
geographic markets in the U.S and abroad, Tawana added.
