Third Quarter 2022

JinkoSolar said shipments were 10,856 MW in the third quarter of 2022, including 10,286 MW for solar module shipments and 570 MW for cell and wafer shipments.

JinkoSolar’s revenues were RMB19.52 billion ($2.74 billion), up 3.6 percent sequentially and up 127.8 percent year-over-year. The sequential and year-over-year increases were mainly attributable to an increase in the shipment of solar modules.

JinkoSolar reported gross profit of RMB3.07 billion ($431.8 million), up 10.8 percent sequentially and up 137 percent year-over-year.

JinkoSolar reported gross margin of 15.7 percent, compared with 14.7 percent in Q2 2022 and 15.1 percent in Q3 2021. The sequential and year-over-year increases were mainly due to an increase in the shipments of N-type module with higher gross margin.

Net income of JinkoSolar was RMB549.8 million ($77.3 million), compared with net loss of RMB623.3 million in Q2 2022 and net income of RMB194.2 million in Q3 2021.
