Hitachi and NTT start solar plant operations in Ibaraki, Japan

NTT Facilities and Hitachi Capital have begun operations at separate solar power stations northeast of Tokyo, reported Bloomberg Businessweek.

A 12.7 MW solar station started running in Namegata City, Ibaraki Prefecture, Hitachi Capital in Japan.

NTT Facilities 6.5 MW solar power plant commenced operations on June 20, stated the news agency.

These two projects are part of a 28.4 MW solar park where operators have jointly started a substation to save construction and maintenance cost.
