Canadian Solar signs EPC agreement with Horizon Energy Solutions

: Canadian Solar announced that its subsidiary, Canadian
Solar Solutions and Horizon Energy Solutions, have signed an Engineering,
Procurement and Construction (EPC) agreement to construct commercial rooftop
solar electricity generating facilities.  

Companies
plan to commence construction of the initial projects under this agreement by
July 2012 under Ontario’s Feed-In-Tariff Program.

Canadian
Solar’s largest solar panel production facility located in Ontario and the
company provides bankable photovoltaic modules and complete turnkey solutions
to its customers.

brand, proven track record and cost effective quality solar solutions as we
pursue new growth opportunities in Canada and worldwide,” said Shawn Qu,
chairman and chief executive officer of Canadian
Solar.

Horizon
Energy Solutions is a developer of renewable energy projects and provider of a
suite of energy management, metering and conservation services to commercial
clients and local distribution companies (LDCs).

Canadian Solar supplies solar modules for 8 MW PV installation
in Germany

Canadian
Solar recently delivered solar modules for an 8 MW PV installation built in the
German city of Dreieich-Buchschlag. The PV system is expected to generate
enough clean power for up to 2,000 homes in Dreieich.
