Canadian Solar today announced the appointment of Yan Zhuang, the company’s chief commercial officer of Modules and System Solutions Business, as acting chief executive officer.
Canadian Solar said Shawn Qu, its founder and chairman, president and chief executive officer, is on a medical leave of absence due to an injured from an accident. Canadian Solar said Shawn Qu is now recuperating in a hospital and making steady progress.
Canadian Solar said Shawn Qu will continue to be involved in all major decisions affecting the company.
