Adani Green Energy announced the commissioning of a 180 MW solar power plant located at Devikot in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan.

The plant is projected to generate approximately 540 million units of electricity annually. This output is expected to cater to the energy needs of over 1.1 lakh homes while reducing carbon emissions by around 0.39 million tonnes each year.

Adani Green Energy has secured 25-year power purchase agreement with the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI).

With the addition of this solar facility, AGEL’s operational solar portfolio stands at 6,243 MW, consolidating its position as the largest renewable energy generator in the country with a total operational capacity of 9,784 MW.

The plant’s design incorporates advanced technologies, including next-generation bifacial solar PV modules and horizontal single-axis solar trackers (HSAT), aimed at optimizing energy generation by maximizing module efficiency and solar tracking capabilities throughout the day.

Adani Green Energy has implemented innovative waterless robotic module cleaning systems at the facility, facilitating water conservation in the arid region of Jaisalmer, Rajasthan.

Adani Green Energy has established an Energy Network Operation Centre (ENOC) powered by a digital cloud platform. This advanced monitoring infrastructure enables enhanced operational performance and efficiency across AGEL’s renewable energy assets.
