Trina Storage has announced the launch of Elementa 2, an Energy Storage System (ESS) featuring an upgraded pack design, precise thermal management enabled by smart liquid cooling technology, and a robust fire mitigation and suppression system.

Boasting a total capacity of 4.07MWh, Elementa 2 integrates 306Ah Trina LFP cells renowned for their high safety, performance, and cyclic lifetime. These cells are seamlessly incorporated into an upgraded battery pack design, resulting in a remarkable 16 percent improvement in energy density.
The system is further optimized for thermal management, battery management, and monitoring. Leveraging its vertical integration strategy, Trina Storage delivers robust customer value through products and solutions underpinned by in-house R&D, engineering, manufacturing, and testing capabilities.

Elementa 2 places paramount emphasis on safety. The system introduces a comprehensive safety advantage with multi-dimensional testing and targeted design to enhance fault detection precision at the cell level. Its robust protective design enhances electrical and mechanical safety. Elementa 2 is equipped with diverse safety protections, integrating early fire hazard detection and suppression systems to preempt and counter thermal runaway scenarios effectively.
