Envision Energy International and AM Green, a hydrogen and green ammonia venture promoted by the founders of Greenko Group, have inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to collaborate on manufacturing wind turbines for AM Green’s clean energy projects in India.

The MOU signing took place during the World Economic Forum’s Annual Summit in Davos, Switzerland.

Mahesh Kolli, President of AM Green, and Lei Zang, CEO of Envision Energy, expressed their commitment to jointly manufacture, supply, and service wind turbines tailored to AM Green’s specific requirements in India.

AM Green, leveraging its customer base, aims to commit to an offtake of at least 2GW of capacity annually over the next three years. The generated energy will be directed towards the production of renewable green molecules.

Mahesh Kolli, President of AM Green, highlighted the significance of the partnership, stating, “This collaboration brings together two industry specialists to harness their manufacturing strengths and create sustainable business ventures for the long term. We are excited about the opportunity ahead in global decarbonization.”

The partnership aligns with AM Green’s broader efforts to establish a secure supply chain for high-quality, cost-effective wind turbines in India, contributing to the realization of an economically efficient 24×7 power supply for its green molecule plants across the country.

In addition to manufacturing wind turbines, AM Green and Envision will collaborate on the development of green hydrogen projects and net-zero industrial parks. Both companies will leverage their technical expertise to jointly establish applicable green hydrogen industrial standards.

AM Green, established by the founders of Hyderabad-based Greenko Group, Anil Chalamalasetty, and Mahesh Kolli, aims to leverage its expertise in renewable energy and storage-as-a-service models to become one of the world’s lowest-cost producers of green hydrogen, green ammonia, and other green molecules.
