Emeren Group, a global solar project developer, has announced a co-development agreement for Battery Storage Projects in Southern Italy.
The collaboration with Glennmont Partners from Nuveen, one of the world’s largest fund managers investing in clean energy, marks a significant milestone in advancing renewable energy infrastructure.
The partnership entails joint development efforts between Glennmont and Emeren to establish two stand-alone Battery Storage Projects in the Campania region of Southern Italy. Moreover, the agreement includes the co-development of a project portfolio in Campania and Puglia, boasting a combined capacity exceeding 150 MWp. These projects are slated to commence construction in late 2025, with operations commencing in early 2027.
