Adani Green Energy (AGEL) has commissioned a 50 MW solar power project and a 31.2 MW wind power project at Khavda, Gujarat, marking a significant milestone in India’s renewable energy journey. This development is part of the expansive Khavda Renewable Energy Park, which is set to become the world’s largest hybrid renewable energy facility upon completion.

The solar project, operational since August 8, 2025, was developed by AGEL’s subsidiary, Adani Renewable Energy Three. This addition brings AGEL’s total operational renewable generation capacity to 15,865.5 MW, reinforcing its position as a major player in the renewable energy sector.

The wind power project, commissioned on September 30, 2025, further enhances the hybrid capacity of the Khavda site, which integrates solar and wind energy to provide round-the-clock sustainable power. This strategic integration supports India’s clean energy goals by supplying sustainable power to millions of homes.

AGEL’s efforts at Khavda are part of a broader initiative to develop the world’s largest renewable energy park, spanning 538 square kilometers in Kutch district. Once completed, the park is expected to generate 30 GW of power, enough to meet the energy needs of approximately 18 million Indian homes
