Las Virgenes Municipal Water District and OceanWell Test New Water Technology

Las Virgenes Municipal Water District (LVMWD) and OceanWell have launched a pilot project to test OceanWell’s water filtration system. This system aims to provide a reliable water source in areas facing shortages. It uses deep-sea water farms at over 400 meters to filter water using natural pressure. Each unit can produce one million gallons of clean water daily while using less energy and protecting marine life. The test at Las Virgenes Reservoir in California helps refine the technology before moving to the ocean.
