Adani Energy wins order worth ₹25,000 crore for Bhadla-Fatehpur HVDC project

Adani Energy Solutions (AESL) has secured its largest order worth ₹25,000 crore for the Bhadla-Fatehpur HVDC project.

AESL’s under-execution order book increases to ₹54,761 crore, covering a transmission network of 25,778 ckm and 84,186 MVA capacity.

The project facilitates renewable energy evacuation from Rajasthan to North India, supporting India’s decarbonization goals.

AESL will deploy advanced technology to complete the 6,000 MW HVDC system (2,400 ckm) and 7,500 MVA capacity within 4.5 years.

The company is India’s largest private transmission and distribution entity and part of the Adani portfolio.

The Bhadla-Fatehpur project is AESL’s third HVDC initiative, adding to its leadership in long-distance power transmission.

AESL serves 13 million electricity consumers in Mumbai and Mundra SEZ through its retail distribution business.
