UBM India’s 8th edition of the Renewable Energy India Exhibition and Conference (REI) held from 3rd to 5th September at the Indian Exposition Mart in New Delhi has entered into the final day.
REI is an annual event that aims to accelerate growth of the Indian Renewable Energy sector by offering sustainable development opportunities to businesses in this industry.
The 8th edition has attracted more than 500 Exhibitors, 12,000 Trade Visitors and 1000 Conference Delegates across 35 countries.
The REI Expo showcases insightful sessions covering all segments, explaining the future prospects of renewable energy growth in India.
The event was attended by decision makers, influencers as well as technical experts and professionals from leading companies involved in the renewable energy generation, transmission and distribution all over the world.
The key highlight of the show was the Start-up Pavilion, to encourage budding entrepreneurs with a limited budget to build their business portfolio.
Multiple conference sessions deliberating upon the challenges and solutions and workshops were best part of the expo.
Rays Experts, provider of solar solutions and the emerging solar power EPC and Development Company participated and showcased the potential of Solar Rooftop PV Systems in the exhibition.
In addition, Schneider Electric India launched two products – Conext CL and Conext XW+ – at the event. Conext CL is a new line of three-phase string inverters, while the new Conext XW+ is the next-generation version of the Conext XW hybrid inverter.
The event platforms country pavilions from Japan, Italy, USA, Taiwan, Canada, Belgium and Catalonia besides a European Pavilion.
Renewable Energy India Expo 2014 is supported by leading associations like National Solar Energy Federation of India (NSEFI),Solar Energy Association of Gujarat (SEAG), Centre for Study of Science, Technology and Policy (CSTEP), India Smart Grid Forum (ISGF), UK Trade and Investment, and Bloomberg New Energy Finance as Strategic partner.
