Renewable Energy Group establishes new biodiesel terminal in Lebanon

Greentech Lead America: Renewable Energy Group (REG), a
North American biodiesel producer with a nationwide distribution and logistics
system, has opened its new biodiesel terminal in Lebanon, Ohio,
outside of Cincinnati.

The terminal has supplied its first truckload of biodiesel to
Trupointe Cooperative, a GROWMARK network fuel supplier.

“We are pleased to take the first truckload of biodiesel
from this new facility and wish REG much success with it. REG is dedicated to
quality and to the best possible customer experience which is very important to
our customers like Trupointe Cooperative who are receiving this truckload. We
appreciate and share that commitment as we all grow and help the marketplace
understand the benefits of using biodiesel,” said Brigette Harlan,
renewable fuels product manager for GROWMARK.

REG believes this Ohio terminal will help the company
offer great opportunity for blenders to expand their biodiesel offerings in
preparation for harvest or to meet summer over-the-road diesel demand.

Hawaiian Electric extends biodiesel contract with Renewable
