EcoFactor, a provider of cloud-based home energy management services, has appointed Matthew Plante as chief executive officer, effective immediately.
Plante, who joins EcoFactor from Bidgely, will be responsible for accelerating market adoption of EcoFactor. He will also be responsible for taking its vision as it moves into the next chapter of market expansion and growth.
“As EcoFactor moves into its next growth stage, we believe that Matt is the right person for the job. He has the proven ability to grow and lead businesses and we’re excited to bring him on board,” said Nat Goldhaber, EcoFactor board member and managing director at Claremont Creek Ventures.
Plante comes to EcoFactor with more than 15 years of experience in energy management, utility and related industries. He served the position as Vice President of Sales in Bidgely and at EnerNOC, where he led various sales teams worldwide.
