StarCharge Unveils Advanced Energy Storage, Charging Solutions and ANZ Partnership at SNEC 2026

StarCharge showcased its next-generation energy technologies at SNEC 2026, unveiling a range of solutions spanning energy storage, EV charging, digital energy management, and solar-storage-charging integration. Key launches included a 960 kW Solar-Storage-Charging System, a 6.25 MWh Energy Storage Container with 587Ah battery cells for utility-scale and AI data center applications, and a 720 kW Arctic Immersion Liquid-Cooled Power Cabinet designed to improve efficiency and lower operating costs. The company also introduced digital energy platforms for real-time energy management and trading. In addition, StarCharge signed a strategic partnership with SolarJuice in Australia to expand renewable energy projects, virtual power plants (VPPs), localized investments, and distribution of integrated energy solutions across Australia and New Zealand.

PG&E Reaches 1 Million Solar Interconnections, Leading U.S. Utilities in Customer Solar Adoption

Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) has surpassed 1 million customer solar interconnections, becoming the first U.S. utility to reach the milestone and reinforcing California’s leadership in distributed clean energy. More than 500,000 of these solar connections were added between 2020 and 2025, with over 70,000 new installations annually during the past two years. PG&E’s network includes residential, commercial, and utility-scale solar systems across Northern and Central California. The company is now focusing on the next phase of grid modernization by integrating customer-owned solar, battery storage, and electric vehicles into virtual power plants and bidirectional charging programs. PG&E said the milestone highlights the growing role of distributed energy resources in improving grid reliability, resilience, and decarbonization.

Vanguard Renewables Breaks Ground on Minnesota Renewable Natural Gas Facility

Vanguard Renewables has begun construction of a new renewable natural gas (RNG) and organics recycling facility in Minnesota, expanding its efforts to convert food waste and agricultural byproducts into clean energy. The project will process organic waste streams that would otherwise end up in landfills, using anaerobic digestion technology to produce RNG while reducing greenhouse gas emissions. The facility will also generate nutrient-rich soil products that can be returned to local farms, supporting circular economy goals. Vanguard Renewables said the project will strengthen regional waste management infrastructure, create economic opportunities for farmers, and increase the supply of low-carbon renewable fuel. The Minnesota facility forms part of the company’s broader strategy to expand RNG production and support decarbonization across the transportation, industrial, and energy sectors.
