Schneider Electric has appointed BayWa , Solar Trade U.S. as the distributor for its Schneider Home energy management solutions in the United States. This partnership enables BayWa r.e. to offer Schneider Home products to its network of solar installers, facilitating broader access to integrated home energy systems. Meta Signs Agreements for 240 MWac Solar Projects with Sunraycer Renewables in Texas

Sunraycer Renewables has entered into agreements with Meta Platforms, Inc. for the purchase of 100 percent of the environmental attributes from two solar projects in Texas: the Gaia Solar project in Navarro County and the Midpoint Solar project in Hill County. The Gaia project will provide 143 MWac, while the Midpoint project will supply 97.5 MWac to the ERCOT grid. Both projects are scheduled to commence commercial operations in late Q4 2025. These agreements support the development of Sunraycer’s 4 GWac portfolio of solar and battery facilities

Swift Current Energy Energizes 800 MW Solar Facility in Illinois

Swift Current Energy has announced the energization of its 800 MWdc (593 MWac) Double Black Diamond Solar project, located 30 miles west of Springfield, Illinois. This facility is now the largest operating solar project east of the Mississippi River. The project utilizes American-made equipment and is expected to generate enough electricity to power over 200,000 homes annually. It contributes significantly to Illinois’ renewable energy goals and supports local economic development through job creation and infrastructure investment.
