Town of Bloomfield has selected SemaConnect to install two electric vehicle charging stations at the Town Hall to provide a convenient and fast way to charge electric vehicles.
Brannack Electric, a Bloomfield-based electrical contractor, will be responsible for the installation works.
These EV stations in Bloomfield are an initiative in providing the citizens with alternative energy solutions for their day to day living environment.
The government is anticipating an increased demand for convenient electric vehicle charging stations in the town and they want to encourage more EV adaption.
SemaConnect’s networked electric vehicle charging stations and web-based management software helps easy and organized installation.

The commercial grade stations are sophisticated, networked Level II offering 240Volts, 30Amps of power supply.
The web-based management software allows station owners to manage time-of-use pricing with built-in payment gateway and run sustainability reports on fossil fuel and CO2 emissions.
In addition, the owners can also check real-time electricity metering as well as manage electric vehicle driver usage.
SemaConnect has developed an iPhone and Android smartphone app for EVA drivers to help with managing of charging sessions, search for stations, and manage their accounts.
SemaConnect has also partnered with Recargo on their PlugShare app, a widely used application for electric vehicle drivers, which allows them to start a charging session right from the PlugShare app for more convenience.
