Kilroy Realty Corporation installs Blink Network EV charging stations

By Greenech Lead America: Kilroy Realty Corporation
(KRC), a real estate investment trust in West Coast, has installed Carmel
Valley’s first electric vehicle (EV) charging stations at the company’s
regional offices at 3611 Valley Centre Drive in San Diego. The three Blink
Network EV charging stations will serve KRC’s employees, office building
tenants, and the community at large.

Blink chargers, developed by ECOtality
feature large, easy-to-use touch screens and universal electrical charging
connectors to accommodate all electrical vehicles. The charging stations can be
conveniently located via mobile application or GPS.

The Blink Network of charging
stations provides EV drivers the freedom to travel as they choose and
conveniently charge at Blink commercial locations along the way. Blink Network
offers local incentive programs, reservation systems, and enhanced Blink
Network capabilities to its Members.

“Carmel Valley shares KRC’s commitment to sustainability,
and we’re proud to be able to bring this service to the community. We are
currently evaluating all our San Diego properties to see where there is need
for EV connectivity and we look forward to bringing more online soon,” said
Steve Scott, senior vice president, San Diego.

Kilroy Realty intends to place additional Blink EV
charging stations at its Mission City and Liberty Station projects in San Diego
by year end, as well as its proposed One Paseo mixed-use project, located in
Carmel Valley.
