JinkoSolar has supplied 55.7MW of PV modules to the Garissa Solar Power Plant in Barki Village, Garissa County, Kenya, Africa.
The solar plant is expected to be commissioned by Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta.
“Garissa County has favorable sunlight conditions for solar power generation. The project is is also another step towards President Kenyatta’s 2020 target of obtaining 100 percent green energy across the country,” Gener Miao, vice president Global Sales and Marketing of JinkoSolar, said.
