India-based independent power producer Hero Future Energies has commissioned a 10 megawatt solar power project spread on 50 acres in Chitradoorga, Karnataka.
The commissioning of the project has taken the cumulative capacity of Hero Future Energies in Karnataka to 60 megawatts.
The project at Chitradoorga has been built incorporating best-in-class technology and was completed ahead of schedule, Sunil Jain, the company CEO said in a statement.
Hiriyur team of Clean Solar Power built the project, which is expected to generate 17 million units of electricity annually.
