Vestas signs 183 MW wind turbine deal in US

Vestas has signed a deal for the supply of 183 MW of V120-2.2 MW turbines for a wind project in the U.S. with a number of turbines operating in 2.0 MW.

The wind power project has a total nameplate capacity of 202 MW, including previously purchased 2 MW platform components.

Vestas did not reveal the name and other details of the client.

Vestas said the order includes supply and commissioning of the turbines as well as a 10-year service agreement.

Vestas will start the delivery of wind turbine in the second quarter of 2020 with commissioning scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2020.
