Greentech Lead America: GE has signed a major wind services contract – the largest such contract for GE till date – with E.ON Climate and Renewables North America.
The contract will provide operations and maintenance services for 819 wind turbines at eight wind farms in Illinois, Indiana, Pennsylvania and Texas for E.ON Climate and Renewables North America.

The operational service agreements with GE include remote monitoring and resets, PulsePOINT performance analysis, on-site troubleshooting, parts and technical advisory support.
“Our preeminent servicing capabilities and advanced use of software and analytics have helped us to build a record of proven service performance with E.ON’s wind turbines. This is the largest number of turbines in a single wind services agreement to date and we are proud to take on that responsibility with a great collaborator such as E.ON,” said Andy Holt, general manager of wind services for GE’s renewable energy business.
