The award was an inspiration to company and a motivation that all its projects and the energy of all employees of ACCIONA may turn to green energy for all of us, stated Konarowski during the acceptance speech.

Its recent priority is Krobia I Wind Farm, an eleven 3 MW wind turbine project, each of them with a rotor diameter of 116 meters and a rotation area equivalent to 1.5 football pitches.

The wind turbines are installed on 120-meter concrete towers manufactured on-site, which was the first such wind farm in the world when the production commenced one year ago.

The Green Phoenix Foundation is a non-profit organization supporting the implementation of innovative solutions for renewable energy, energy efficiency, alternative fuels and organic waste.
