Village Power gets $500,000 through US DOE SunShot Program

Village Power Finance has been awarded $500,000 as part of the US Department of Energy’s SunShot Program, to add features to the platform, and expand various services provided to its peer-to-peer investor base and energy customers.

Company is delighted about the recognition this brings to the investors, community partners, and team, said Ty Jagerson, CEO, founder, Village Power Finance.

Solar and energy efficiency solutions remain inaccessible to thousands of community organizations around the country. This award helps us serve more of these organizations faster, added Jagerson.

Village Power Finance’s web platform simplifies the clean energy project development and finance process for community organizations, helping investment.

In addition, it also allows community members to initiate these clean energy projects from inside their communities.
