Trinasolar has delivered 1 GW of its Vertex N 720W solar modules to the Jinsha River upstream clean energy plant, which is nearing completion.

Key highlights:

The Vertex N 720W modules, known for high power and reliability, are optimized for extreme high-altitude conditions (4,200-4,800 meters), ensuring steady green energy output.

The project will generate around 5.1 TWh annually, cutting CO2 emissions by 3.74 million tons and reducing coal use by 1.67 million tons each year.

Leveraging n-type i-TOPCon technology, these modules exhibit low degradation and high efficiency. Testing showed just 1.6 percent power degradation under intense UV exposure, well below industry norms, underscoring their suitability for challenging environments.

As part of China’s National Water, Wind, and Solar Integration Demonstration Base, this project integrates sustainable energy production with local economic development, aligning with Trinasolar’s long-standing commitment to eco-friendly practices.
