Greentech Lead Team: Promise Energy, an affiliate of Adam
Capital, a clean energy finance company, announced it has signed a major US
distribution agreement with Baymak, a division of BDR Thermea, a global solar
heating and storage equipment provider.
Promise Energy provides full-service design, engineering,
installation and financing for solar hot water systems for multifamily
affordable housing, apartment buildings, and commercial buildings.
“This partnership with Promise Energy allows us to
expand our presence in the rapidly growing market for commercial solar hot
water systems in the US,” said Tacnur Yilmaz, export deputy manager for
Baymak-BDR Thermea Group.
“We see enormous growth potential in Promise
Energy’s full-service approach to this market – including design, installation
and financing – and we look forward to expanding our partnership in the near
future,” added Yilmaz.
As per the agreement Promise Energy will offer Baymak’s
265-gallon tanks to their commercial customers in the US, while expanding
Baymak’s international distribution of its leading enameled steel solar hot
water tanks. The tanks will be offered as part of a complete package including
Promise Energy’s no-money-down financing for qualified buildings.
“We’ve chosen high-quality solar thermal equipment
for Promise Energy’s financing package, because the company will be owning and
operating these systems for 20 years or more,” said Adam Boucher, CEO of
Adam Capital.
By combining industry-leading equipment and engineering
with Adam Capital’s financing expertise, Promise Energy can provide building
owners a simple, affordable path to clean, renewable solar water heating.
