OX2 has acquired the rights to two solar energy projects in Skane, Sweden, from Helios Nordic Energy. The projects are estimated to have a capacity of 45 MW. The acquisition is part of OX2’s increased focus on solar energy.
The projects are estimated to have a capacity of 45 MW and will be part of OX2’s early stage project development portfolio.
“We are looking forward to developing the projects together with Helios and to evaluate further areas for cooperation. OX2’s extensive experience from developing wind power is valuable when working with solar energy since the process is similar,” says Jon Persson, Head of Solar Sweden, OX2.
OX2 has a portfolio of solar projects under development in Sweden and has offices in Malmo, Stockholm and Ostersund.
