Trina Storage and Pacific Green have inked a letter of intent (LOI) for a 1,500 MWh energy storage solution project.
Trina Storage is slated to provide 1,500 MWh of integrated energy storage solutions, including their liquid-cooled energy storage system, Elementa 2, along with PCS and EMS technologies. These solutions will be deployed across multiple energy parks developed by Pacific Green in various jurisdictions.
Du Yangfan, General Manager of Pacific Green Technologies Shanghai, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, “Collaborating with leading clean energy suppliers like Trina Storage is essential to achieving our objectives.”
Jack Chen, overseas sales director of Trina Storage, echoed Yangfan’s sentiments, emphasizing the shared commitment to advancing clean energy transitions.
Trina Storage’s track record speaks volumes, having secured a position among the Top 5 on the BloombergNEF report on Storage Providers and Integrators in 2023. Additionally, the company is listed in the BNEF Energy Storage Tier 1 List, highlighting its reliability and credibility as a battery energy storage system (BESS) provider.
The Elementa 2, the liquid-cooled energy storage system equipped with Trina Storage’s in-house cells, boasts enhanced features such as upgraded pack design, precise thermal management facilitated by smart liquid cooling technology, and a robust fire mitigation and suppression system.
