Verengo Solar appoints Akiko Koh as VP of Operations

: Verengo Solar, a home solar company,
announced the appointment of Akiko Koh as vice president of operations. Koh and
her team will be responsible for the operational infrastructure growth needed
to deliver and support affordable residential solar power to thousands of
American homes.

“As our new VP of Operations, Akiko will lead all
operations following the sale of a solar energy system, She combines attention
to detail with a vision for scale and efficiency that has our entire company
excited,” said Ken
Button, co-founder and president, Verengo.

Koh joins Verengo from
Modular Space Corporation (ModSpace) where she was served as vice president.
Koh brings over 22 years of operations experience at GE and its subsidiaries,
including Executive Operating Officer of GE Edison Life Insurance in Japan.

Koh holds BS and MS degrees from MIT in Nuclear
Engineering.

Verengo recently announced  it
has become the leading residential solar company in California, the nation’s
largest solar market. A recently released data by the California Solar
Initiative (CSI) shows Verengo is the state’s leader in both total
installations and total sales for November 2011.
