By Greentech Lead Team: Mobiform Software, a global
provider of SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) technology for
manufacturing and heavy industry, has signed a long term technology agreement
Schneider Electric Industries SAS.
The agreement will provide Mobiform software to Schneider
Electric Industries SAS.
In the seven year agreement, Schneider Electric
Industries has agreed to a cumulative licensing and support fee of $2.4 million
for use of Mobiform technology in their products.
Schneider Electric Industries SAS is a global specialist
in energy management with operations in more than 100 countries. Schneider
offers integrated solutions to make energy safe, reliable, efficient,
productive and green across multiple market segments.
The Group has operations in energy and infrastructure,
industrial processes, building automation, and data centers/networks, as well
as a broad presence in residential applications.
Recently, Schneider Electric was named a Market Leader in the Data Center Infrastructure Management
(DCIM) space by analyst firm IDC.
IDC placed Schneider Electric in the highest category of
Market Leader when compared to a wide range of competitor’s solutions.
