Larson Electronics has developed a new 18 watt LED tube lamp, which can be used for upgrading existing T8 fluorescent lamp fixtures and as a replacement for LED light fixtures.

These are company’s first generation 18 watt LED tubes, generating a total of 1,768 lumens per bulb.

The LEDT8-36-V1 18 watt T-series LED bulb works with any T8 fluorescent light fixture, can be configured for any T series fluorescent light fixture and requires no ballast for operation.

For power, the line and neutral voltage are applied to the same end. Internally, the operator has to bring the black wire to one pin and the white wire to the other. For installing this tube in a fluorescent light fixture, the operator has to bypass the ballast and wire the power directly to one end of the LED tube.

These tubes are an ideal upgrade for three foot fixtures with failed ballasts. This LED lamp features rotating pins for adjusting the direction of light dispersion after installation. The fluorescent lamps are Omni-directional and illuminate 360° and the LED style replacement lamps are directional with a 160° beam spread.

The polycarbonate lens diffuses the light. These bulbs are ideal for food safe environments and the aluminum concealment acts as a heat sink, providing rigidity for the LED bulb. These multi-voltage LED bulbs offer voltage ranging from 110 volts to 277 volts, including 120 volts, 230 volts, and 277 volts AC.

Larson Electronics carries an extensive line of LED spotlights, LED hunting lights, colored LED lights, portable work lights and industrial grade LED area lights.
