Mercury Completes 155 MW Kaiwera Downs Wind Farm in New Zealand

Taiwan is one of Asia’s leading offshore wind markets and is using renewable electricity to support both energy security and industrial decarbonisation. Ireland’s Summer Solar Electricity Generation Jumps 58%

Solar electricity generation in Ireland increased 58 percent during June, July and August 2026 compared with the same three-month period in 2025, demonstrating the rapidly increasing contribution of photovoltaic capacity to the Irish power system. The jump reflects continuing deployment of utility-scale and distributed solar projects as Ireland diversifies a renewable portfolio historically dominated by wind generation.
