Renewable energy leaders R.Power, OX2, and Solarvest Holdings are driving significant solar power developments across Europe and Southeast Asia.

In Poland, R.Power has announced the sale of a 440-MWp solar-plus-storage portfolio that integrates photovoltaic (PV) plants with battery energy storage systems to maximise renewable energy output and enhance grid flexibility. The portfolio, currently at various stages of development, targets institutional and strategic investors seeking stable, long-term returns. Featuring advanced PV modules and modern storage technology, the projects promise optimal energy dispatch, reduced curtailment, and improved reliability. The sale aligns with Poland’s decarbonisation goals, supports renewable integration, and contributes to a more resilient and cost-effective electricity supply.

Also in Poland, OX2 has secured an energy generation licence for its 100-MWp Rutki solar farm, marking a major milestone toward commissioning. The project will supply clean electricity to thousands of households, reduce fossil fuel reliance, and lower carbon emissions. OX2’s investment in advanced solar technologies underscores its commitment to expanding its renewable footprint in Central Europe while supporting local economic growth.

Meanwhile, in Southeast Asia, Solarvest Holdings has broken ground on a 30-MW solar park in Brunei, the country’s largest renewable energy project to date. Developed through a joint venture, the project is a cornerstone of Brunei’s strategy to diversify its energy mix and curb carbon emissions. Scheduled for completion in 2025, it will deploy high-efficiency PV technology optimised for local climatic conditions, deliver clean electricity to residential and commercial customers, create green jobs, and promote technology transfer.
