UKA Secures Over 600 MW in Germany Wind Auction, Strengthening Market Leadership
UKA Group has secured more than 600 MW of onshore wind capacity in Germany’s February EEG auction, capturing around 17.5 percent of the total 3,445 MW awarded. The auction was heavily oversubscribed, with average prices falling to 5.54 ct/kWh, the lowest level since 2018, highlighting strong competition and cost efficiency. The awards will enable installation of 89 wind turbines across key regions, including Brandenburg and North Rhine-Westphalia. This builds on UKA’s existing 1.5 GW construction pipeline, reinforcing its growth strategy and investment in renewable energy. The milestone underscores innovation and scale in Germany’s wind sector, accelerating clean energy deployment and supporting the transition to a low-carbon power system
ABO Energy Sells 63 MW Papoqji’jg Wind Project in Canada to Eolectric
ABO Energy has sold the 63 MW Papoqji’jg wind project in Canada to independent power producer Eolectric, marking a strategic transaction in the North American renewable energy market. Developed in partnership with the Pabineau First Nation, the project highlights strong community collaboration and sustainable development. The wind farm will feature up to 11 turbines and secured a power purchase agreement in 2025 through a competitive process. Eolectric will lead construction and supply electricity to NB Power, with commissioning targeted for late 2028. This investment underscores growing demand for clean energy in Canada, supporting decarbonization, local economic benefits, and long-term renewable energy expansion
Nordex Secures 120 MW Wind Turbine Order in Türkiye to Support Renewable Expansion
Nordex Group has secured a 120 MW turbine supply and installation contract for the R25-Balıkesir-2 wind farm in Türkiye, strengthening its presence in the regional renewable energy market. The project will deploy 18 advanced N175/6.X turbines on 119-metre towers, highlighting innovation in high-efficiency wind technology. The agreement includes a 10-year Premium Service contract, ensuring long-term performance and reliability. Developed by Efor Holding under the YEKA framework, the project reflects strong investment in Türkiye’s clean energy strategy. Installation is set to begin in March 2027, with commissioning planned for August 2027, supporting energy security and accelerating the country’s transition to low-carbon power.
