Solar Industries Wins Rs 1,746 Crore Bulk Explosives Supply Order from Coal India

Solar Industries has secured a Rs 1,746 crore order from Coal India for the supply of bulk explosives, strengthening its position as a key supplier to India’s mining and infrastructure sectors. Nagpur-based Solar Industries is one of the largest manufacturers of industrial explosives and detonators in the country, with a strong presence across mining, infrastructure, and defense segments. Coal India, the world’s largest coal producer, relies on bulk explosives for overburden removal and coal extraction across its large network of mines. The latest order highlights sustained demand from the coal mining sector and underscores Solar Industries’ long-standing relationship with Coal India, supported by its manufacturing scale, technical capabilities, and nationwide supply network.

Adani Green Commissions 307.4 MW Renewable Capacity at Khavda, Forms New Subsidiary

Adani Green Energy has operationalised an additional 307.4 MW of renewable energy capacity at Khavda in Gujarat, further expanding its footprint at one of the world’s largest renewable energy parks. The Khavda site is a key part of Adani Green’s strategy to develop large-scale solar and wind projects that support India’s clean energy targets and long-term decarbonisation goals. With this addition, the company continues to scale up capacity through rapid execution of utility-scale projects.

In a parallel development, Adani Green has incorporated a new step-down subsidiary, Adani Ecogen Four Ltd, focused on renewable power generation. The creation of the new entity aligns with Adani Green’s project-specific development model, enabling efficient financing, execution, and operation of renewable assets. Together, the commissioning of new capacity and the formation of a dedicated subsidiary underline Adani Green’s aggressive growth plans in India’s fast-expanding renewable energy sector.
