Informa Markets in India has announced the 18th edition of Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo 2025, Asia’s largest clean energy event, scheduled from October 30 to November 1, 2025, at the India Expo Mart, Greater Noida.
The event will be co-located with the 3rd edition of The Battery Show India (TBSI), together showcasing the full spectrum of innovations driving India’s clean energy transition under the theme “Decoding Pathways to Achieve Net Zero.”
A Global Platform for Renewable Energy Collaboration
Building on the success of its 17th edition in 2024, REI 2025 aims to set new benchmarks for sustainability, innovation, and industry partnerships. The event will feature 700+ exhibitors, 1,000 brands, 35,000 visitors, and 250 global thought leaders including policymakers, investors, and technology innovators.
The exhibition will span solar energy, battery storage, EV charging infrastructure, biomass, and wind technologies, offering a comprehensive view of the renewable value chain.
Co-located with The Battery Show India (TBSI), South Asia’s premier event for advanced battery manufacturing and energy storage, the combined expo will cover the entire clean energy ecosystem—from generation to storage and mobility solutions. Backed by strong institutional support from the Department of Science & Technology and the Ministry of Heavy Industries, TBSI 2025 will host over 350 exhibitors and 400+ brands, attracting more than 20,000 professionals from across the global energy and mobility sectors.
Strengthening Government and Global Partnerships
In a significant development, the Government of Odisha joins as the State Partner for REI 2025, reinforcing India’s policy commitment to advancing domestic battery and energy storage industries. The event will also see participation from major clean energy markets including China, Japan, and Korea, alongside country pavilions from Germany, Belgium, and EU-supported delegations.
The Start-up Pavilion and Investor Zone will foster innovation and collaboration, connecting entrepreneurs with investors and accelerators in the clean energy space.
The Bio Energy Pavilion, supported by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), will feature 65 international companies, demonstrating diverse renewable technologies.
Industry Leaders Driving India’s Green Growth
REI 2025 will host leading industry names such as Reliance, Adani Solar, Havells, Waaree, Goldi Solar, Vikram India, INOX Solar, FIMER, Luminous Power, Gautam Solar, GREW Energy, and Dhash PV Technologies.
On the TBSI front, key participants include Semco, Thermofisher, BASF, TVS Indeon, Rubamin, Indygreen, Tex Technology, CBC Corporation, and Nash Energy, among others.
Powering Innovation, Policy, and Investment
The REI–TBSI platform will feature an extensive knowledge series, including Energy Storage Summit India (ESS India), and high-level discussions on BESS financing, investment de-risking, policy frameworks, and domestic supply chain development.
Over 26 conference sessions and multiple CEO/CXO forums, CTO roundtables, and the prestigious REI Awards will highlight strategies for large-scale energy storage deployment, circular economy practices, EV integration, and advanced manufacturing pathways.
India’s Clean Energy and EV Momentum
India’s clean energy transition continues at an unprecedented pace, with non-fossil fuel capacity reaching 242.8 GW, of which 234 GW comes from renewables—a dramatic rise from 76 GW in 2014. The country is on track to invest over US$ 360 billion in renewable energy and infrastructure by 2030, aiming for 500 GW of non-fossil capacity.
The Battery Show India complements this growth, aligning with the rapid expansion of the Indian EV and energy storage market. The EV battery market is projected to grow from USD 16.77 billion in 2023 to USD 27.70 billion by 2028, while the Battery Management System market is set to rise from USD 278 million in 2024 to USD 1.22 billion by 2033, at a CAGR of 17.9 percent.
Accelerating India’s Net Zero Vision
According to Yogesh Mudras, Managing Director, Informa Markets in India, “Renewable Energy India 2025 reflects the pulse of a nation firmly steering toward energy independence and sustainability. The concurrent Battery Show India complements this vision by deepening conversations around storage and mobility—two pillars vital to the renewable energy value chain.”
Together, REI 2025 and TBSI 2025 will power new ideas, partnerships, and technological collaborations that accelerate India’s path toward Net Zero—making it the most influential event in Asia’s clean energy calendar.
