Staubli to set up manufacturing unit in Bangalore, India, for renewable energy connectors

Staubli has signed an agreement to set up a new manufacturing facility in Bangalore, India, focusing on producing renewable energy connectors.

The facility, set to begin operations in late 2025, aims to meet the growing needs of India’s renewable energy market and support the country’s target of 280 GW of solar energy by 2030. This initiative will enhance Staubli’s production capacity, drive innovation, and promote sustainable development.

Gurupad Bhat, Managing Director of Staubli Tech Systems India, and Gerald Vogt, Gerald Vogt, group CEO of Staubli, highlighted the importance of this step in strengthening customer relationships, delivering service excellence, and demonstrating a long-term commitment to sustainable growth in India.
