Wind turbine maker ENERCON and RWE have formed a long-term partnership to develop onshore wind projects across Europe.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed at the WindEurope conference outlining their cooperation.
The agreement includes collaboration in most of RWE’s core European markets.
ENERCON will handle supply, installation, and maintenance of wind turbines, aligning with RWE’s self-performance strategy.
The partnership aims to secure reliable turbine supply, support RWE’s growth program, and provide planning certainty.
RWE views the partnership as a strategic fit that strengthens and diversifies its European supply chain.
ENERCON sees the partnership as a step towards climate-neutral and economically viable energy solutions in Europe.
