ELECQ Expands in Europe with Smart Charging Solutions

ELECQ has introduced its charging technologies at Italy 2025 KEY – The Energy Transition Expo. Products include ELECQ Home, ELECQ Biz, DC Station 60, ELECQ Ready, and ELECQ Power Monitor. The company offers modular chargers designed for energy efficiency. The ELECQ Biz charger optimizes energy use, reducing electricity costs, while the DC Station 60 provides flexible fast-charging capabilities. ELECQ also integrates software solutions for real-time monitoring and remote diagnostics.

Sunraycer Secures $200 mn for Renewable Energy Expansion

Sunraycer Renewables has closed a $200 million financing facility with HPS Investment Partners to support its 4 GW portfolio of solar and battery projects. The funds will finance development, construction, and acquisitions. Sunraycer’s strategy includes acquiring 3-4 GW of early-stage projects and expanding its Accelerant Program, which offers flexible capital solutions to smaller developers.

Canadian Solar’s e-STORAGE to Deliver 1.8 GWh Energy Storage Systems

Canadian Solar has secured agreements with Aypa Power to supply and service two battery energy storage projects in California and Texas. The projects will deploy approximately 370 SolBank 3.0 units, featuring lithium-iron-phosphate battery technology and advanced cooling systems. Construction will begin in Q3 2025, with e-STORAGE managing maintenance under a 20-year agreement.

UniSource Energy Seeks New Energy Resources

UniSource Energy Services has issued an all-source request for proposals (ASRFP) open until April 11, 2025, to add up to 200 MW of firm summer and winter capacity. The company seeks energy storage, natural gas generation, demand response, and load management to meet growing energy needs. Preferred resources should be available by May 1, 2028, with later options considered. Sargent & Lundy will provide evaluation support.

Tigo Energy at KEY Expo 2025

Tigo Energy will showcase its latest solar and energy solutions at KEY – The Energy Transition Expo in Rimini, Italy, from March 5-7, 2025. Highlights include the TS4-X, a module-level power electronics (MLPE) solution for high-power PV modules, and updates to the EI Residential platform for energy storage and management. The TS4-X reduces installation time and costs while improving energy performance. Tigo’s EI Residential system offers modular storage, e-mobility, and smart monitoring.

Corvus Energy

Corvus Energy has received Type Approval from Lloyd’s Register (LR) for its Dolphin NxtGen Energy marine battery system.

The LR Type Approval confirms that the energy dense and lightweight energy storage system (ESS) complies with the most stringent rules, regulations, and safety requirements in the industry, as defined by one of the leading maritime class societies.

The Corvus Dolphin NxtGen Energy design features unmatched safety capabilities that surpass class and flag requirements. These advanced safety measures include passive single-cell Thermal Runaway (TR) isolation and a TR gas exhaust system.
