Vestas Secures Four New Wind Turbine Orders Totaling 132 MW Across Europe, Americas, and Asia-Pacific

Vestas has announced a strong addition to its Q3 2025 order book with four new wind power contracts that together amount to 132 MW of clean energy capacity. The latest deals span Europe, the Americas, and the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, highlighting the Danish wind turbine manufacturer’s global market strength and the rising demand for renewable energy solutions.

Spain: 27 MW Project Scheduled for 2026

In Spain, Vestas received an undisclosed customer order for 27 MW, comprising six V150-4.5 MW turbines. The project is backed by a long-term AOM 5000 service agreement, ensuring optimized performance. Turbine delivery is slated for H1 2026, with commissioning in the second half of 2026.

Greece: 41 MW Maratzaki, Pyrgaki & Koromilia Wind Farms

Greek energy company CNI S.A. awarded Vestas a 41 MW contract for the Maratzaki, Pyrgaki, and Koromilia wind projects. The order includes five V135-4.5 MW turbines and four V136-4.5 MW turbines under a 20-year AOM 5000 service agreement. Both delivery and commissioning are scheduled for H2 2026, strengthening Greece’s transition to sustainable power.

Costa Rica: 22 MW Clean Energy Expansion

In Costa Rica, Vestas secured an undisclosed customer order for 22 MW, featuring five V117-4.3 MW turbines. The deal includes an eight-year AOM 4000 service agreement, with delivery and commissioning targeted for 2026, supporting the nation’s ambition to expand renewable electricity generation.

South Korea: 43 MW Youngduk Wind Power Repowering

Vestas also landed a major 43 MW repowering order from Youngduk Wind Power in South Korea. The project will deploy seven V162-6.2 MW turbines under a 20-year AOM 5000 service agreement. Turbine delivery is set for Q3 2026, with commissioning to follow soon after. This repowering initiative underscores the APAC region’s commitment to upgrading existing wind assets for greater efficiency.
