Vestas Secures Multiple Wind Turbine Orders Across Germany and Italy in Q4 2025

The contracts, covering projects in Germany and Italy, underscore Vestas’ strong market position and continued partnership with key renewable energy developers in the EMEA region.

The new orders, totaling 200 MW, include long-term service agreements ranging from 20 to 25 years, highlighting customer confidence in Vestas’ advanced turbine technology and lifecycle service offerings.

1. Schenkenberg IV + V (Germany)

Customer: Enertrag SE

Capacity: 72 MW

Turbine Variant: 10 × V172-7.2 MW

Service Agreement: 25-year AOM 5000

Delivery & Commissioning: Delivery planned to begin in Q3 2026; commissioning scheduled to begin in Q1 2027

The Schenkenberg IV + V project reinforces Vestas’ collaboration with Enertrag SE, one of Germany’s prominent renewable developers. The V172-7.2 MW turbines will boost efficiency and energy output, supporting Germany’s clean energy targets.

2. Niederlungwitz (Germany)

Customer: Windpark Niederlungwitz Struktur GmbH

Capacity: 50 MW

Turbine Variant: 8 × V162-6.2 MW

Service Agreement: 20-year AOM 4000

Delivery & Commissioning: Delivery planned to begin in Q3 2026; commissioning scheduled to begin in Q2 2027

The Niederlungwitz project demonstrates Vestas’ continued success with the EnVentus platform, offering flexible configurations for varying site conditions.

3. Wulkow-Booßen (Germany)

Customer: Energiekontor AG & Loscon

Capacity: 48 MW

Turbine Variant: 8 × V150-6.0 MW

Service Agreement: 25-year AOM 4000

Delivery & Commissioning: Delivery planned to begin in Q1 2027; commissioning scheduled to begin in Q2 2027

4. Castronovo di Sicilia (Italy)

Customer: PLT

Capacity: 30 MW

Turbine Variant: 5 × V162-6.0 MW

Service Agreement: 20-year AOM 5000

The Castronovo di Sicilia project in Italy highlights Vestas’ role in advancing Southern Europe’s renewable energy transition. The V162-6.0 MW turbines will help enhance grid stability and optimize power generation in the region’s wind conditions.
