Concord New Energy has placed a 50-megawatt order for solar photovoltaic equipment with Shangluo BYD.
Concord plans to use the equipment at a project in Shaanxi province of China, PV Tech has reported quoting a filing with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
According to PV Tech, BYD will provide a 10-year warranty on the products it supplies under the deal valued at RMB215 million ($34.6 million).
Concord invests in wind and solar projects and also operates as an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) provider for wind power projects.
