Boviet Solar USA, a solely owned subsidiary of Powerway Group and manufacturer of solar cell and manufacturing facilities in Vietnam, announced today that its parent company, Powerway Group has acquired Berkenhoff.
Berkenhoff, a 125-year-old company is known for its precision wire manufacturing. The company generated over $100 million in sales last year.
By acquiring Berkenhoff, the Powerway Group continues to solidify their product offering and expand their global presence.
Powerway Group is a diversified conglomerate with 6 industrial divisions doing business with some of the world’s leading Fortune 500 companies. The group employs some 4,600 staff and posted global sales of almost $1 Billion in the last financial year. Powerway Group also owns subsidiaries in China and Vietnam.
Power Group’s subsidiary, Boviet Solar Technology, located in Bac Giang, Vietnam was formed in 2013.
Today the 5,704,872,000 square feet facility delivers 200 MW of first-class solar modules with capacity expanding under a careful growth plan to 600 MW in 2016.
