Arctech signed a significant supply agreement with China Energy Engineering Group to provide 2.3 GW of SkyLine II solar trackers for the PIF4-Haden project, owned by ACWA Power.
The SkyLine II single-axis solar tracking system, featuring a synchronous multi-point drive mechanism, ensures resilience in the project’s desert location, which experiences high winds. The system can stow horizontally at wind speeds of 22m/s.
This project, aligned with Saudi Vision 2030, will commence commercial operations by early 2027, generating 156.189 billion kilowatt-hours over 25 years, equivalent to reducing 147 million tons of CO₂ emissions.
Arctech’s growing presence in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region has propelled its portfolio past the 15 GW milestone, with local operations in Dubai and Riyadh, and manufacturing bases in Jeddah.
The company’s enhanced localization strategies and comprehensive services support its goal of contributing further to Saudi Arabia’s clean energy transition under Vision 2030.
