EcoFlow Launches RIVER 3 Plus for Portable Power
EcoFlow has launched the RIVER 3 Plus and RIVER 3 Plus (Wireless). The RIVER 3 Plus will be available on March 27, and the wireless version in May. The RIVER 3 Plus is a portable power station with expandable capacity and fast charging. It supports extra batteries (EB300 and EB600) to increase capacity. It provides 600W output and can handle up to 1200W with X-Boost technology. It charges fully in one hour using AC power or 1.5 hours with solar panels. It also has a UPS feature for backup power.
Solar Insure Introduces 30-Year Battery Warranty
Solar Insure has launched the SI-30 Battery Warranty, offering 30 years of coverage. It includes parts, labor, and one battery replacement between years 11-30 if capacity drops below 50 percent. The warranty transfers with the property and has no hidden fees. Solar Insure has also added six new manufacturers to its Approved Vendor List: EG4 Electronics, Fortress Power, FoxESS, Lunar Energy, PointGuard, and QCells.
Splitvolt Expands EV Charging Solutions
Splitvolt has launched a wall-mounted Level 2 EV charger and upgraded mobile chargers. These will be showcased at the EV Charging Summit on March 26-27, 2025.The wall-mounted charger provides up to 12kW (50A) and includes safety features, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and RFID access. It will be available in April 2025.The new mobile chargers, FLEX24 and FLEX40, offer adjustable charging settings.
SolarBank to develop 7.2 MW DC ground-mount solar power project
SolarBank plans to develop a 7.2 MW DC ground-mount solar power project, the Hoadley Hill Rd project, in upstate New York. The project contributes to SolarBank’s growing development pipeline, which exceeds one gigawatt. This initiative aligns with the company’s commitment to expanding community solar efforts.
Sembcorp Industries inks PPA
Sembcorp Industries, through its subsidiary Sembcorp Solar Singapore, has signed a 25-year Renewable Energy Purchase Agreement (REPA) with Malkoha Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of Meta. Under the agreement, Sembcorp will develop, own, and operate a 150MWp floating solar PV system on Kranji Reservoir to supply renewable energy for Meta’s regional operations, including its Singapore data centers. Pending approvals, construction is expected to begin in the first half of 2027.
Luminous Power Technologies and SBI
Luminous Power Technologies has signed an MoU with the State Bank of India (SBI) to enhance solar financing accessibility across India. This partnership, spanning two decades, integrates Luminous into SBI’s dedicated portal for solar loans. The collaboration covers multiple financing categories, including MSME, corporate, institutional, commercial, and industrial sectors. Under the agreement, loans of up to ₹10 crore will be available with reduced processing fees and competitive interest rates, facilitating an easier transition to solar energy. Loan tenures can extend up to 10 years, with rates based on customer credit profiles.
BP to sell mobility and convenience business in Austria
BP has announced plans to sell its mobility and convenience business in Austria, including all retail sites, EV charging assets, fleet business, and its stake in the Linz terminal NOJV. The marketing process begins immediately, with a sales agreement targeted by Q3 2025 and completion by year-end, subject to approvals. This move aligns with bp’s strategy to streamline its downstream portfolio for growth and improved performance.
