Catalyze Acquires 48MW Community Solar Portfolio in New York

Catalyze has acquired 48 MWdc of fully developed community solar projects from hep solar, a German renewable energy firm. The eight projects are located in National Grid’s Load Zone A in upstate New York, including Ashville, Corfu, and Dunkirk. They are construction-ready and expected to be operational by 2026. These projects will join NYSERDA’s NY-Sun MW Block Program, offering clean energy to thousands, lowering energy costs, and improving grid resilience. The acquisition aligns with Catalyze’s U.S. expansion strategy and includes plans for further collaboration with hep solar.

Tigo Energy Unveils Off-Grid Solar Package

Tigo Energy has introduced a Off-Grid Solar Package, aiming to simplify deployment and enhance efficiency for off-grid solar-plus-storage systems. Central to this package is the Tigo EI Residential Solar Solution, offering DC-coupled configurations with either 20kWh or 40kWh of storage, ensuring continuous power availability even with generator integration. The system features a self-guided activation via the Tigo EI App, allowing installers to configure off-grid operations independently. Advanced energy management capabilities and DC architecture are designed to eliminate round-trip power conversion losses, module mismatch, shading, and clipping losses. The package is currently available through distributors like Zonna Energy.

SolarEdge Launches 14a-Compliant Smart Energy Solution in Germany

SolarEdge unveiled a §14a EnWG-compliant energy solution for German residential solar users. The system supports smart integration of controllable loads, aligning with Germany’s push for grid stability. Integrated with the SolarEdge ONE AI platform, it optimizes energy use based on electricity prices, weather, and user habits. Homeowners can reduce costs and maximize solar and battery storage efficiency. This launch empowers users to actively support Germany’s energy transition while benefiting from smart, real-time energy management and compliance with evolving energy regulations.
