By Greentech Lead Europe: EuroSite Power, an on-site
utility, offering clean electricity, heat, hot water and cooling solutions to
hospitality, healthcare, housing and leisure centers in the U.K. and
Europe, has signed an agreement to supply an on-site energy solution to
the Cedar Court Hotel Huddersfield in Yorkshire. EuroSite will replace the
hotel’s existing aged and inefficient combined heat and power system (CHP) with
a 100 kW CHP system which will be owned and operated by EuroSite Power.
Under the terms of the agreement, the hotel will receive
a discount on the energy produced by the CHP system. EuroSite Power will
produce space heat and hot water for the hotel’s health club. Cedar Court will
pay only for the energy used by the facility and avoid all capital,
installation and operating costs of the system.
The CHP system will generate up to 2 MWh of energy each
year and will help the hotel offset 221 tons of carbon emissions. EuroSite’s
on-site utility solution offers all service, maintenance and repair therefore,
Cedar Court will not need to provide manpower to support the energy equipment.
The agreement will provide EuroSite
Power with pounds Sterling 1,500,000 over the 15 year contract.

installed over the last 25 years are now in need of replacement and the Company
continues to pursue this opportunity to accelerate its growth within the UK and

EuroSite Power to offer Clean Energy from combined heat and
power system
EuroSite Power recently has signed an agreement to supply
clean energy to Haverhill Leisure Centre in Suffolk. The fifteen-year agreement
enables the company to install an InVerde 100 combined heat and power system at
the center managed by Abbeycroft Leisure, a Charitable Leisure Trust which
operates St Edmundsbury Borough Council’s other leisure centre in Bury St
Edmunds plus another fitness centre in Ipswich.
